About MXR Pedals
MXR Pedals were founded in New York in 1974 and are among the most used and recognisable out there, adopted by virtually every guitarist with a pedalboard, MXR pedals deliver great tone every time. Manufactured in the USA under the Jim Dunlop umbrella, MXR Pedals like the Dyna Comp, Phase 90 and Carbon Copy are adored by many musicians including Terry Sherwood, Jack White, Joe Bonamassa and Keith Barr, while some iconic players like Eddie Van Halen, Slash, Billie Joe Armstrong and Zakk Wylde have received signature models that are dedicated to their significance as part of their tone. With features like buffered bypass, true bypass switching and noise gate available, we're confident you'll find an MXR pedal that totally transforms your pedalboard.
The first MXR pedal was the Phase 90. Over 45 years later, it is still one of the bestselling effects pedals in the world. It was most iconically on the first two Van Halen albums with EVH’s sound becoming inextricably linked with this phaser. He would even have his own signature Phase 90 released years later! Other famous 70s MXR pedals include the Dyna Comp compressor, Distortion+, Blue Box octave fuzz, and the Micro Amp boost. All have been played by countless guitar players over the decades with Jack White even installing a micro amp in his guitar!
