With its highly responsive Distortion control, the Super Badass covers a full spectrum, from early ’70s low gain overdrive to modern “scooped” metal distortion and every shade of dirt in between. Once you’ve dialed in your desired amount of crunch, you can use the Bass, Mid, and Treble controls to finely sculpt your sound.

A highly under rated pedal, goes from gentle overdrive to full on distortion. Will get that overdriven Marshall & Mesa Recto sound. Very versatile, excellent value. MXR do great pedals and this has replaced a boutique distortion pedal that cost twice the price!

More than I expected from an overdrive pedal. It's odd - if you don't want to delve into METAL then this is the pedal for you. Pick a guitar tone close to breaking up from UFO to Jimi and that pedal has the tone inside it. Remarkable engineering!
