About Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster
The Squier Classic Vibe Series is an affordable celebration of iconic Fenders from the first three decades of production. You can’t get much more iconic than the telecasters of this era!
It could be the original butterscotch blonde telecaster of the early 50s, the double bound Tele Custom of the mid-60s or the more muscular Tele Deluxe of ‘72. Whatever your dream guitar, the Classic Vibe Series provides a budget-friendly reproduction!
Classic Vibe Telecasters boast massive bang for buck, offering tones and playability you wouldn’t think possible in this price range. They are solidly built, with vintage-inspired hardware. They are easy to play thanks to their slim, comfortable necks and easy-playing 9.5” radius.
These throwback designs are 100% designed by Fender and ooze vintage charm.
Why Choose a Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster?

Frequently Asked Questions about Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster
Question: Are the Squier Classic Vibe Teles good?
Absolutely, yes! The Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster brings you all the classic Tele twang, built to an outstanding level of quality at a fantastic price.
Question: What's the difference between a Squier Classic Vibe 50s and 60s Telecaster?
The Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster is brighter sounding and the Classic Vibe 60s Tele is warmer sounding. This is because of the wood they use. The body of the 50s model is made from pine which is a soft, balanced-sounding wood. The 60s model is made from nato which is similar to mahogany and has a more pronounced mid-range. The 50s Tele uses maple for it’s fingerboard which has a glossy finish and bright sound. The 60s Tele uses Indian Laurel which has a rougher, natural finish and warmer sound.
Question: Which Classic Vibe Telecaster should I buy?
The 50s Classic Vibe Telecaster is one of the most popular electric guitars we sell! This is because the butterscotch blonde tele of the early 50s is one of the most famous guitars of all time with the likes of Keith Richards and Bruce Springsteen rocking them down the years. All the telecasters in the Classic Vibe Series are built with the same quality so it just comes down to personal preference!
Question: Are any Squier Classic Vibe telecasters available as left-handed models?
Yes! You left hookers out there will be pleased to know that the Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde is available left handed!
Question: What pickups are in a Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster?
Depending on the model, the Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster comes fitted with a pair of Fender Designed Alnico Telecaster Single-Coil pickups, or a pair of Fender Designed Wide Range Humbucking pickups.
