What we say:

At A Glance

First released back in the 1970s, this Tele Thinline model is equipped with some high grade humbucking pickups for some extra force. The Squier Classic Vibe 70s version manages to take all the attitude of the original and bring it back into existence at an affordable price point. The thinline body looks great but also projects the sound well, giving it a sound all of its own. Player friendly features include a comfortable C shaped neck and a 9.5" radius fingerboard. It is a great choice for guitarists at any level and is certainly built to last.

Features We Love:

Fender Designed Pickups

A set of Fender Designed Wide Range humbuckers provide the huge tones here. Perfect for the guitar player that needs an extra level of power to their Tele sound, these pickups are great for rock, blues, indie or any style where extra punch is needed.

Individual Steel Saddles

Often overlooked, well made saddles are essential to a guitar performing well. These 6 individual steel saddles allow for precise adjustment. Both string height and intonation can be finely adjusted for easy playing and accurate pitch.

Semi-Hollow Construction

Looking at this guitar, your eyes are drawn to the striking f-hole but your ears certainly take notice as well. It allows the sound to be projected and gives a unique and full tone to this Tele. It also makes for a lightweight guitar so your shoulder will be happy too!

Pros:

  • Capable of producing seriously big tones
  • Great for the performing musician
  • Classic Thinline looks and style

Great sounding instrument. Very playable. One star knocked off as inside edge of the f hole was a little rough.

I can?t get over how brilliant this guitar is for the money! In fact how brilliant it is regardless of price. I have wanted a Tele Thinline for a while and tried out a few Mexican and USA models over the years but this, for me , was just perfect! While I loved the general 70s vibe of the others I tried, the fact that the neck was modern c , 6105 fret wire and 9.5 inch radius was my dream combo that was never really an option on previous Fender versions. Combine this with the more vintage 50s tuners and switches and it ticked every box for me. I have sanded down the back of the neck and ordered The Creamery and PRS pickups for mine but that is purely personal choice, as it sounds great as is.
