What we say:

At A Glance:

If you're looking for an affordable Gibson Les Paul with all of the features you need to gig, record and just have fun with, then the Gibson Les Paul Classic could be the guitar for you! Iconic looks, great hardware and improved functionality are all of the things this guitar has in spades!

Features We Love:

Les Paul Shape

Nothing screams rock and roll like a Gibson Les Paul. This distinctive shape is an icon, used by countless musicians such as Slash, Jimmy Page, Billy Gibbons, Joe Perry, and of course Les Paul himself! The Les Paul gives you the sound, and the looks you need to take your music to the next level

Versatile Electronics

Alongside the classic 60s Burstbucker humbucker pairing, Gibson have added a set of push/pull switches to the electronics. These allow you to coil tap the humbuckers for single coil tones, invert the phase for a more nasally sound and even switch the electronics to bypass for a pure pickup to amp tone.

Fixed Bridge

You can't beat a fixed bridge for palm muting, tuning stability, easy re-stringing, and it's countless de-tuning possibilities. No fuss, just plug in and rock out!

Highlights:

  • With its array of features electronically this guitar can handle everything you throw at it! Perfect for recording, live use or just a multi functional instrument for any music.
  • The cool looks of the Les Paul will never get old, play in style knowing that you join some iconic artists such as Slash, Joe Perry and Jimmy Page

Absolutely amazing guitar. The finish, the tone, the features, getting that out of phase sound etc. It's up there with many Custom Shops editions but for a lot less money.

Had a very good experience with the guys at guitar guitar Birmingham, after a manufacturing fault with my initial new Gibson Les Paul,a replacement was supplied very quickly with no quibbles and great support. The Gibson Les Paul I have is flawless in every way,as was the service I received.I Would happily buy another instrument from Guitar Guitar Birmingham.

I don't know why you wouldn't want this guitar in your collection. The range of control over the signal to your pedals and/or amplifier is very wide. There's lots of compliance in the volume and tone controls, and when you add coil tapping and "Greeny" style phase inversion, there's so much scope for tone sculpting. For me, it's easily better than the LP Standard, and several hundred Pounds cheaper. You'd be mad not to at least try one.

My 5th Gibson Les Paul but first Classic. I’d originally gone in to buy the more expensive Greeny guitar but actually preferred the look and feel of the Classic while still being able to get the out of phase sound I wanted. The tone options are all great and I’m glad I took the time to try the different Classics as the one I brought home sounded better than the others I played.

I really like this guitar, a big purchase fot me. I think the setup is a bit off, some fret buzz. I did ask for the on site tech to have a look who thought it was OK but I might need to get l give it to donor to check.
