Great sounding guitar, but arrived with a crack on the body by the neck

Good value but factory settings on the action were way too high for a Strat. Guitar Guitar resolved this, but quite a bit of work involved to get the action closer to the fretboard. That aside, it’s a good guitar for the money, especially the custom pickups which are crisp, clear and oh so pleasing.

Great guitar love the paint jobs on the neck, satin on the back gloss on the fretboard. There's been really good work on it and it shows but it's not an american and after playing it for a while you start understanding why. There's some little minor buzz sounds coming off that most of them where solved by adjusting the height of a couple of strings. Overally great sounding and quality guitar.

I have now had a chance to try out the fender limited edition Stratocaster. The action is good, the tuning is quite stable when using the Tremalo. The finish is lovely and so is the neck. The only small issue is that the tremalo arm is a bit loose in the socket. The instrument was well packed and the delivery was quick. All in all very pleased with the purchase.

I am a shadows and 1960’s guitarist and bought this guitar to go with my collection. It is a new 1959 gold plated Stratocaster with a modern twist. It is a good representation of Hank Marvin’s first fiesta red strat. I love the modern parts which is a 9.5 inch radius fingerboard which I fine very easy to play. It is flatter than the 7.5 inch radius fingerboard that was used in those days. It also has a 2 point tremolo system. I personally don’t like the Fender old design tremolo which I find there is play in the arm before the trem moves. Also the arm is either too stiff or too loose which drops down, making it hard to use. I therefore have replaced the tremolo with one that works for me, please see the attached photo. This one has a screw to adjust the arm tension. This however is a personal choice, which works for me. The fat 50’s pickups are just brilliant. I played Apache and FBI in a gig and the people listening mentioned how well this guitar sounded, just like the original. I love this guitar and will use it in the Shadows clubs that I play in.

Outstanding just as I expected it to be.

Just what I was after, terrific looks and a beautiful sound, re-creates those early sounds of apache, fbi etc.

The guitar was delivered with speed and cate, it was exactly as advertised and works just as it should

I wanted a guitar for playing The Shadows music, and what better than a Hank replica? Only one issue is that it only comes with 3 Bridge springs and heavy gauge strings, like Hank Marvin uses, require at least 4.

Excellent guitar, I have a few Strats, but the Custom Shop Fat 50 pickups certainly give you those nostalgic tones. Well worth the money
