I visited Guitar Guitar in Camden recently to collect a repair, buy a guitar case and potentially find a new acoustic. Past guitar-shop experiences elsewhere haven't filled me with confidence, but Ewan listened carefully to my needs and hooked me up with a Gibson J-45 I've been unable to put down. He was attentive, unpatronising and un-judgy, helping offset the discomfort I often feel playing in front of male guitarists. The guitar itself sounds incredible and feels like an extension of me. Correct bag for the guitar

Clearly not the most technical of gig bags, but for the price it's very good. I bought it for an old Fender mexican Tele, which fits perfectly. The bag looks smart as well. Clearly if you want to fly with your guitar or protect it from being thrown about a lot you might need better, but for being transported in the back of a car to gigs then it's fine.

A Great fitting well made padded gig bag

This gig bag is the 3rd level down from the most padded and most expensive gig bag in this series and the 2nd one up the chain. It is good value for money and is very well made, but the padding is a little thinner than I anticipated and I now wonder whether spending the extra 20 odd quid for the FE620 gig bag might have been worthwhile for the additional padding. This FE610 gig bag is fine for throwing into the back seat of a car to take to jam sessions or for occasional gigging, but I would definitely want a bit more padding if I was doing this several times a week.

The case was just what I wanted

Certainly no shredder but I can imagine myself getting a bit faster on this with practise as it's so easy to play. It's a tele, so won't scream at you, but there's easy acidity sul ponte, as they say.
