Alesis Crimson III Electronic Drum Kit

The Alesis Crimson III kit is a nine-pad electronic drum kit featuring the exclusive Alesis mesh drum heads that deliver realistic playability and expression. The updated Crimson III drum module features 80 kits (40 factory/40 user) with 470 sounds – many of which come directly from the world-renowned BFD drum library. Also upgraded is the user interface with 6 mix faders to control levels.

This drum kit is equipped with an 8” kick, a 12” dual-zone snare, two 8” dual-zone rack toms, and a 10” dual-zone floor tom, (Patent #US 9,424,827 B2) along with a 12” hi-hat with control pedal, two 12” crashes with choke, and a 14” triple-zone ride. A premium 4-post steel rack with a separate double-braced snare stand keeps everything solidly anchored, no matter how hard you play!

To further sharpen your skills, there’s a built-in metronome, real time recorder, and a 1/8” input for playing along with your mobile device, so you’ll be ready for the practice or performance. There are also a stereo pair of 1/4"outputs, a headphone output, and a USB-MIDI output for triggering your favorite virtual instrument plugins.

The Crimson III drum module also features an SD card input. You can use this input to load your own .WAV samples for additional sound selection. Once the .WAV samples are loaded, you can easily assign these to any zone of any pad on the Crimson III Kit – the creative possibilities are boundless. You can also load in .WAV files of play-along tracks using this input.
