What we say:

At A Glance

The Squier Affinity Series Jaguar is one for those who like something a little different to the more traditional models. First introduced in the 1960s, the Jaguar was seen as a top range instrument. It dipped in popularity but then came back with a vengeance in the late 1970s when it became the choice of many punk and indie guitarists. The radius is an easy playing 9.5" and the comfortable C shape neck also feels great to play. A pair of Squier single-coil pickups give the guitar that distinctive Jaguar tone. Add in a vintage style tremolo and you get a guitar full of style that plays like a dream!

Features We Love:

Short Scale Length

Perfect for smaller hands and younger players, the 24" scale is one of the features that attracts a lot of people to the Jaguar. It is very comfortable to play and makes for an easy playing experience.

Pickups

The set of single coil pickups are key to the Jaguar's charm, taking you from a jangly tone that's ideal for indie, funk and pop to a gnarly grown that's perfect for rock.

Floating Vibrato

The Jaguar is a real genre defying instrument due to its versatility. The floating vibrato adds to this as it is ideal for integrating atmospheric tremolo expressions into your playing.

Highlights:

  • Great for a number of styles
  • High quality present throughout
  • Distinctive looks from a classic model
