What we say:
At A Glance:
The new American Ultra II Meteora Bass in Ultraburst represents Fender at its most cutting edge. This bass isn't all about its bold style, every inch of the guitar has been designed with your performance in mind, from the comfortable contoured body and Modern D quartersawn maple neck with Luminlay side dots, to the Haymaker Humbucker pickups with an active preamp and advanced EQ circuit, resulting in a state of the art Fender Bass with optimum playability and refined tone sculpting.
Features We Love:
21st Century Fender
The Ultra II Meteora has been sculpted to provide the most fluid playing experience. Some notable features include the contoured body with tapered neck heel, a quartersawn maple neck with Modern D profile, Luminlay side dots and a Graph Tech Tusq nut, and an ebony fingerboard with medium jumbo frets, Ultra rolled edges and a comfortable 10"-14" compound radius. Making this one of the most inviting Fender Basses you can get your hands on.
Haymaker Pickups
Specially designed for this guitar, the Haymaker humbucker set is key to this guitar's huge tone. With the ability to blend between the two pickups using the pan control, you have detailed control over your bass presence, from gutsy, to rich and crisp to warm, this guitar can do it all!
Active Tone Circuit
The American Ultra II boasts some seriously impressive tone sculpting thanks to the active circuit that offers a 3 band EQ with switchable midrange frequency, plus, with passive tone control mode, you have a huge range of sonic potential with no compromise.
