What we say:

At A Glance:

The EC-1000 in Black has all of the performance needed for the modern metal player. The single cut, 24.75" scale length, set neck design clearly takes inspiration from a classic model, but it's the refinements that are where ESP really shine. With some well placed contours in the body and sharpened edges, the Eclipse is less 'clunky' than it's competition. The mahogany body and neck have a prominent mid range to thicken up your tone but with all of the bite from the ebony fingerboard. With a TonePros TOM style bridge and tailpiece and two Fishman Fluence pickups, it's ferociousness and brutality is second to none.

Features We Love:

Fishman Fluence Pickups

Perfect for aggressive riffing, the Fishman Fluence Modern pickups create big tones that are controllable and high articulated. These humbuckers have all the power you need for some seriously huge sounds.

TonePros Locking TOM Style Bridge

The easy to intonate and adjust bridge with a stop bar tailpiece makes setting up the guitar easy. Whether you're experimenting with different string gauges or need a quick tweek pre gig, it won't take hours of fiddling to get the guitar sitting just right.

Slim, Fast Neck Profile

The EC-1000 has a thin U shape neck which is slim, but not so thin that you're left looking for more to grasp. Somewhat of a classic feature to ESP guitars, it will satisfy both the guitarist new to the brand or someone who is well accustomed to the sleek neck shape.

Highlights:

  • Macassar ebony fingerboard that looks great with the gold hardware and will give bite and high end clarity to your playing
  • Locking tuners for extremely reliable tuning stability
  • Set-thru construction for increased sustain and resonance
