The graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck is cut and rolled to the exact specifications requested by Eddie Van Halen and truss rod adjustments have never been easier than with the spoke wheel fitted at the base of the neck.
Two flagship custom designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups with cream bobbins are fitted directly to the body. This gives a clear and concise voicing as well as sustain for days!
The EVH D-Tuna is also an interesting feature of this guitar, tuning down to drop-D and back to standard with strict accuracy with the flick of a switch, while never interfering with the EVH Branded Floyd Rose Special Tremolo
