Constructed for Performance

Another excellent feature of the GB-Modern 4 is the way the body has been crafted to produce a lightweight bass that doesn't sacrifice on tone. With mahogany at its centre, this is joined by paulownia wings, a white ash back and a phenomenal poplar burl top. The result will not only make your shoulder happy but is especially pleasing for the ears and eyes too!

Quality Tone

The GB-Modern 4 is equipped with a pair of Nordstrand Big Single pickups. These aren't your average single coil pickups though; think big, thick low end and plenty of clarity throughout the mids and highs. Taking it one step further is the MarkBass MB Instrument Pre preamp which gives the ability to refine your sound through simple to use cut and boost options.
