The Belle Epoch Deluxe uses the same signal path and preamps as the originals, but adds a digital delay chip in place of the tape heads to give you that authentic tone, without the fuss of having to deal with tape wearing out. Tape Delay

The Belle Epoch Deluxe realistically recreates the classic sound of analog tape delay. While your average digital delay will offer precise and lossless audio that simply repeats your sound identically until it fades out, a tape delay will add artefacts like filtering and compression and tape irregularities like wow and flutter. It's an incredibly distinctive sound that's a key part of dub music and has been adopted by many guitarists including Andy Summers, Tommy Bolin and Johnny Greenwood.

Expanded Controls

The 6 control pots allow you to achieve your desired sound with ease. The Mix control is particularly useful, making sure that it blends well in any situation. The Belle Epoch Deluxe also includes an Oscillation button that instantly kicks the pedal into self-oscillation mode, which is incredibly fun!

With an Expression Pedal

Using the Expression input you can control the delay time using a wah style expression pedal or the new Catalinbread CB Tap pedal that lets you match the delay to your songs BPM.
