Dave Mustaine is synonymous with the Flying V and for decades he's used many imitations, but now he has his name on the authentic Gibson V! In typical Mustaine fashion, he has to put his own fresh take on it. Featuring a mahogany body that's been carved to the classic V shape minus the pickguard, the Mustaine V also features a classic 6 in a row Gibson headstock and signature winged inlays.
Seymour Duncan Thrash Factor Humbuckers
A key part of Dave's signature tone is the classic Seymour Duncan JB, and the Mustaine signature Thrash Factor humbuckers have been voiced after one of Dave's favourite JBs that's been used on countless Megadeth albums.
SlimTaper Neck
Built for aggressive playing, the Mustaine V features a SlimTaper neck that comfortably fits the hand, but never feels like you're missing something to hold onto. The Neck meets the headstock with a Volute that provides stability and strength.
