Balancing that classic Rickenbacker bass sound with the look and feel of their classic hollowbody guitars, the 4005 sports a style quite unlike any other Rickenbacker instrument that founds itself a home in the hands of bass titans like Mani and John Entwistle.
It's loaded with a pair of vintage toaster-style Rickenbacker singlecoils with their own volume and tone controls each, as well as that mysterious 'Rickenbacker Blend pot'. This lets you finely balance the output of both pickups and is a real secret part of that iconic Ricky sound.
