What we say:
At A Glance:
The ESP LTD MH-1000 Evertune Dark Brown Sunburst brings you the best innovations in playability, tuning stability, and tone. All six strings are locked in tune with an Evertune constant tension bridge. Evertune bridge systems are designed to keep your guitars tuning locked in place no matter how aggressively you attack the strings. EMG pickups give you an active pickup sound with the neck position splittable from a push/pull control located in the tone pot. The MH-1000 utilises Stainless Steel for the construction of its twenty-four extra-jumbo frets. The choice of material makes these frets as durable as they come. Grover tuners finish the upgraded spec with a traditional tuning system that has been manufactured by a top name in the industry. A captivating Dark Brown Sunburst is accented by the multi-ply binding that travels around the body, neck, and matching-finish headstock.
Features We Love:
Evertune
The intelligent mechanism behind this upgraded bridge system can be set to absorb all pitch changes or just let it affect the strings you desire. The idea behind the Evertune system is it will allow you to play hard and remain on pitch with pinpoint accuracy. With the phenomenal pitch accuracy and intonation made possible by the Evertune, the ESP LTD MH-1000 is a great guitar to have in a recording environment.
EMG Pickups
This MH-1000 comes filled with an EMG 81 in the bridge and an EMG 60tw in the neck. A push/pull knob allows you to split the neck position for silent single-coil sounds. If you are looking for power and punch, EMG is where you will find it. The 81 is the pickup that started it all for EMG.
Extra-Jumbo Frets
Twenty four extra-jumbo Stainless Steel frets have been worked into the Macassar ebony fingerboard. Larger frets like these require less force to make a note resulting in a faster-playing neck. Adding larger frets to guitars has been a popular upgrade since the hay day of shredding in the '80s.
