What we say:

At A Glance:

The Fender Acoustasonic Jazzmaster is the third model to join their revolutionary family of hybrid guitars. When the Acoustasonic Telecaster debuted in 2019 it caused quite the sensation and the Jazzmaster model takes that same revolutionary spirit even further. Thanks to its classic offset design, a new humbucking pickup and maintaining the exemplary playability, comfort and feel of the range, this is a very impressive model indeed.

What really sets it apart is the wide selection of voicings that have been created for this model. For example in Position 1 you can blend together the sounds of Fender Electric Fat with Fender Overdriven Electric. Position 4 gives you Mahogany Jumbo and All-Mahogany Small Body. For session players, touring musicians and guitar enthusiasts, this opens new doors to endless possibilities!

Features We Love:

Acoustasonic Shawbucker Pickup

Tim Shaw is the man responsible for creating a number of outstanding pickups at Fender and this is certainly another fine accomplishment of his. The Shawbucker humbucking pickup achieves an articulated yet balanced tone, delivering a clear and strong signal. The undersaddle and internal body sensor complete the astonishing three pickup system.

5 Pairs of Voices

The 5 way switch allows you to toggle between the outstanding selection of voices, the majority of which have been made especially for the Jazzmaster. The Blend knob lets you move between the A and B voices, meaning there are 10 voices in total. Depending on how far you spin the Blend, you can morph together different amounts of A and B to get that perfect sound to suit any track or live performance.

Waterfall Soundhole

The tuned soundhole with Fender's patented "waterfall" design is key to giving this guitar its acoustic sound. It has been precisely positioned and sized to work with the offset body shape adding another unique element that sets it aside from the other Acoustasonic models.

Highlights:

  • Full of possibilities for studio work and live performances
  • Voicings that are specific to the Jazzmaster
  • All the versatility of an Acoustasonic with offset stylings

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 5/5 (1 reviews)

Lovely guitar, though it feels strange at first, but you soon see that the potential for a super range of tones. Great for the studio and worth investing in a good accoustic amp such as a sonnet (blackStar). Quality finish and slick neck is a joy to play, though it comes with 11s strings for a full sound, so not a lead guitarist set up.
