What we say:

At A Glance

Squier's Classic Vibe series of guitars have made a huge impact since they were introduced. As the name suggests, this Strat brings the style and class of the 50s into a great sounding instrument. Many people seem to prefer them over more expensive models which is a true sign of their quality. With a 9.5" radius, three single coils and a vintage style tremolo, all of the Strat essentials are here. Perfect for those who want a classic style guitar that plays well and at a great price!

Features We Love:

Fender Designed Pickups

The trio of Alnico single coil pickups have been designed by Fender so needless to say, the tones are amazing. From sparkling cleans to gritty leads, a whole range of useable tones are available. There is definitely no need to be changing the pickups on these!

Vintage Stylings

The classic aesthetics are present throughout; from the vintage-tint gloss on the neck to the 50s inspired headstock markings, the finer details have been thought out in order to produce this beautifully vintage style instrument.

C Shape Neck

What use is a great looking and sounding guitar if it isn't fun and comfortable to play? The C shape neck gives a snug fit in the hand and allows for hours of fatigue free playing. It also makes for an easy time of playing up and down the fretboard.

Pros:

  • Classic style features throughout
  • A lot of guitar for the money
  • Perfect as a main guitar or as a back up for gigging

Good playable instrument for the price.

Excellent guitar for the money. The wooden dowel for the truss rod is a nice touch over plastic dowels found on more expensive guitars. Indeed, the nearest Fender in this colour and with similar vintage appointments to this guitar costs more than twice the price and even then half the finish is worn off and the fretboard isn?t as flat. Definitely worth a try if you?re not bothered what name is on the headstock. The only change I?ve made to the guitar was to swap the aged white plastics to regular white. This is not a fault with the guitar at all, purely a personal choice. I did this as I felt the aged white knobs looked bizarre with the pristine gold lettering brand new knobs have. If you?re going to have off white plastics to give the impression of age, then use black lettering like it turns on genuinely old knobs ?
