What we say:

At A Glance:

The Squier Classic Vibe 60s series captures the spirit of a special and influential decade for music. The Jazzmaster was originally introduced for jazz players but found its home and popularity in surf rock. Since then it has been a staple choice for a whole range of alternative styles due to the offset shape and distinctive sound. The rhythm/lead circuit allows for customisation of tone which is provided by the Fender Designed pickups. Essential to the Jazzmaster sound and style is the floating vibrato which is ideal for creating all of those atmospheric tremolo sounds. It has also been made to a high quality and for a great price.

Features We Love:

Fender Designed Pickups

It wouldn't be a true Jazzmaster without that unmistakable tone. These Fender Designed alnico large single coil pickups take you to that special place; perfect for all of your indie, rock and shoegaze needs!

Classic Vibe Series Quality

This series of Squier guitars have been making big waves since they were introduced back in 2008. Many guitarists have found themselves using them as their main instrument for both live performances and recording. Extremely well made and at a very modest price, they are definitely worth considering.

Classic 60s Look

This Jazzmaster definitely takes its cue from the stylish originals of the 60s. The tortoiseshell pickguard is partnered with a classic colour finish from that era, giving it real character and plenty of flair.

Highlights:

  • A true Jazzmaster full of style at a great price
  • Iconic tones perfect for a whole range of styles
  • Expressive playing from the floating vibrato

I bought a Squier guitar as I was surprised by it's quality and wanted a less expensive guitar to tweak. The body and pickups are excellent but I will probabaly replace the electronics with some higher quality parts. But I knew this before hand.

Pretty good so far. Had a VM version previously, but this is an improvement.
