Pickups
Designed by Schecter themselves, the Diamond Decimator bridge pickup offers plenty of growl while also cleaning up nicely when needed. Punchy and bright, this set can be split so can be used as humbucker or split coil pickup, depending on what sound you're after. The Sustainiac in the neck position is a fantastic device that allows you infinite feedback across all strings. You don’t need to hold onto any additional apparatus and you can switch modes to bring in extra harmonic overtones. It’s a lot of fun and is a very creative invention!
Body Wood Combination
With Swamp Ash for the body (great for resonance), the Reaper has a dramatic top made of Poplar Burl. The grain on this wood is spectacular, made even more so by the Sky Burst finish.
