Pickups

The HSS pickups are a combination between the new Yosemite units and a DoubleTap humbucker. The Yosemites are hand-wound and made specially for this range, providing a relatively high output and a nice bold sound. The DoubleTap has a thick and full sound which is ideal for rock however it can also be split into a single coil. The really impressive feature is that there is no volume loss between the humbucking and single coil mode.

Greasebucket Tone Circuit

Fender have also included their excellent Greasebucket Tone circuit. The Greasebucket is basically a tone control that does its job properly. Turning back the knob removes treble frequencies without ruining every other part of your sound like some standard tone circuits do. You’ll find yourself using the Tone knob a lot more than before when you have the Greasebucket in there!

ClassicGear Tuners

With an 18:1 gear ratio, these keep with the overall high performance of the guitar. They keep the strings firmly locked in place and not only get them into tune easily but also keep them in tune. An integral part of any performance, good quality tuners are a must for any serious musician.
