What we say:

Since 1976, Schecter guitars have carved a unique and highly revered path through the world of original guitar design. No mere copyists, Schecter are known for some truly outlandish designs but are equally well known for their high quality control and rock 'n' roll attitude. For those players who are a little wearied with the usual models on offer, dive into the world of Schecter guitars and discover a treasure trove of original thinking mixed with some of the best hardware and construction available. Their designs fit every pocket, too: A-list rock stars go out on stage with these guitars and so can you.

A mainstay in the market of Rock guitars, the Omen Extreme 6 blends beauty with a very nasty beast! The bolt-on construction matches a maple neck with a maple-topped mahogany body. The neck, with 24 frets, has a rosewood fingerboard and a 14" radius This is the perfect apparatus for unleashing leads and riffs aplenty! The feel is modern and very comfortable. This Omen's body has multi-ply binding and a great Vintage Sunburst finish.

Schecter's own Diamond Plus pickups handle the action with tight control, allowing your riffs and passages to flow with speed and accuracy. Since this model is an FR, it also comes fitted with a licensed Floyd Rose double locking tremolo for some extremely expressive sonic accents. This is one large sounding guitar, perfect for any Rock fan looking to get maximum results for their spend.

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 4/5 (3 reviews)

Feels very nice to play and sounds quite nice. Complaints: Its on the heavy side. I got too used to playing my SG which is like a feather in comparison. The included tremolo bar is quite long which makes it difficult to use when sitting down as it hits your leg. I had to wrap the springs with an old cloth to stop a ringing sound after palm muting the strings, after that the sound was gone.

This guitar punches well above it's weight. Great feel, sounds really good and a real looker.

Tore H. - 24/7/2018

I'm having a little trouble with the Floyd rose bridge, although that was to be expected
