What we say:

At A Glance

This Ibanez SR300EB in Weathered Black represents great value for money and provides the player with a solidly built instrument at an affordable price. The SR300EB is packed with features not usually seen at this price point such as Dual Coil pickups with a 3-band EQ. A lightweight body and smooth neck make it comfortable and easy to play. It can easily cover a variety at styles including metal and rock but would look equally at home in the world of jazz and blues. This would make the perfect choice for those looking for their first serious bass guitar.

Features We Love:

PowerSpan Dual Coil Pickups

Ibanez developed these pickups with great tone in mind. The multiple exposed pole pieces give rise to a stronger signal and allow the high end frequencies to be captured well without giving up the power of the low end. Perfect for a well balanced and clearly voiced sound.

Accu-cast B120 Bridge

The secure B120 provides the player with a solid piece of hardware. Created with extra wide slots, this allows for heavy gauge strings to be used with no difficulty. The saddles are firmly held in place due to the design and construction of the bridge, so you can focus on your playing knowing that this will be on your side.

Ibanez Custom Electronics

The 3-band EQ allows you to shape your tone and find what you are looking for. A Tap Mode creates a more dynamic single coil sound while the Series Mode produces a warm tone. The Power Tap gives the best of both worlds and allows you to have the clarity and the full sound. A great option to have available.

Highlights:

  • Ibanez brand build quality
  • Excellent value for money
  • Perfect choice as a first serious bass

Great staff, - NOT pushy, very informative. Amazing selection Bass guitars

Geraint S. - 8/12/2023

Really nice bass guitar, with a wide range of tones available. The neck is easy to play and I like the convenient angle of the input jack socket.

Christopher H. - 17/9/2023

For a beginner the cost is great. It's far lighter and (for me) better balanced than the one we have. The demo showed its sound is good (as a beginner I can't judge my sound)

Kate W. - 25/2/2023

Brill bass so light and looks and plays great.

JOHN L. - 31/7/2022

Beautiful Bass. Lovely finish, sounds fantastic and has a great feel and weight. The EQ is impressive for the level and the pickups are great. Beautiful fast neck that looks lovely as a five piece.

Phillip A. - 29/12/2021

Sounds mostly just as I like it, and can tinker with the controls on the guitar rather than a pedal or amp itself. Can go heavy fuzz, or simple clean or funky slap bass. A little bit of string buzz, but that could be just beginners fretting hand I think. A little different the distances of this and a normal guitar.

Roy D. - 6/11/2020

Son is delighted with this instrument - he loves the sound, look, and feel.

Racheal . - 18/10/2020

The workmanship and quality of the bass guitar is fantastic

Simon J. - 13/5/2020

Great Bass at a reasonable price.
