What we say:
At A Glance
The Orange Rockerverb 100H MKIII Valve Amp Head is one for those who like some serious power behind their sound. It is the amp of choice for guitarists ranging right across the musical spectrum, from Pop to Metal. A valve-driven spring reverb adds a lovely quality to the pristine cleans and the switchable output power allows you to get full-on saturation at lower volumes. Made to the usual high standards that you'd expect from Orange, this will stand up to a lifetime of touring while making your performance sound great!
Features We Love:
Twin Channel
Benefitting from a beautiful Clean channel and a high gain Dirty channel, this keeps the design simple yet offers up all the valve tone goodness you could need. This MKIII version features a revoiced EQ that makes the Clean channel sound even crisper. The Dirty channel goes from classic crunch right through to modern saturation, you can cover a lot of ground here.
Plenty of Power Options
The Rockerverb 100H MKIII offers up 4 different power options, so you have something suitable for every type of playing scenario. Use all 4 valves on full power for a huge 100 watts of rich tone or take it all the way down to 30 watts using 2 valves on half power.
Valve-Buffered Effects Loop
Featuring an ECC81/12AT7 valve, this effects loop is incredibly transparent and ensures that every ounce of tone sounds just as rich as it should.
Who Is It For?
This is for those who want a lot of clean headroom or a powerful amp head that gives valve tone but can also be tamed down to lower volumes when needed. Excellent for festival stages at the weekend and studio sessions during the week!
Highlights:
- Two channels of excellent valve tone
- Plenty of power that can be tamed with the attenuator options
- Excellent choice for a touring musician, regardless of the style of music
Condition Report
Has a small nick out of the tolex on the reverse of the amp just below where the jack sockets are.Specification
