Although the Big Muff Pi has a signature tone, there have been plenty of variations of that tone over the years and everybody has their favourite: the original, the 'Russian' one, the op-amp model, the first NYC reissues, the Tone Wicker...whichever iteration you prefer, it's a safe bet that the Deluxe Big Muff can nail the tone you're after!

Alongside the usual controls, you also get a 'Mids' stomp switch to bring back those much-needed frequencies to help your signal retain authority in a live band context; a Bass boost switch, an adjustable noise gate and control over the 'Q' (resonance and width) of the mids.

In fact, the mids are so specifically important in this pedal, you also have the option of connecting an expression pedal (available separately) and sweeping through the middle frequencies in real time, creating a sort of 'synthy-wah' sound! It's an awesome addition that would make for a great pedal in its own right so to have it bundled in here is excellent!

We managed to get a huge range of fuzzes form this one pedal: smooth and tasteful to huge and extreme! It's all here, under one hood, built in NYC and available at a great price.
