Manufacturer's ID: LGB30-VYS

George Benson has been an influential and inventive guitarist for decades and has been an Ibanez user for most of those years. His smooth, gypsy-styled easy jazz playing sounds best on his specially designed signature model, the LGB30. Having said that, pop, R&B and fusion styles all sound great too! This stylish hollowbody looks and feels superb.

George has accrued quite a few signature models with Ibanez and this beauty is one of the more affordable ones. This large hollowbody is bound beautifully and has a great tailpiece, gold hardware and excellent jazz inlays on the fingerboard. Strung with flatwounds, as you'd want, you get a great tone and response form the Super 58 pickups.

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 5/5 (1 reviews)

I have had a few gutars in the cheaper range over the years, and got back into playing when i retired. It gave me so much pleasure i pondered for some time on getting my self a better guitar, and was looking at spending about 350-400 but came across the Ibanez LGB 30 new Model Double my price range, But the morei looked at it and listened to it , the more i wanted it, so now i am holding it , and i can only say it so much easier to play i will be playing for 2-3 hours per day.
