Electro Harmonix Bass Big Muff Pi Overdrive/Distortion

Fantastic pedal, love it and just what I was looking for. Plenty of fuzz but also lots of options with the dry/normal/bass boost switch and clean and dry outputs to offer a whole range of tones, from full on fuzz to creamy sustain. Gigged last weekend with it and really enjoyed the experience.

The EHX Bass Big Muff Pi in one word; MONSTEROUS! I generally D.I straight into the desk & it has really beefed up my bass sound like a herd of giant migrating caribou (are they classed as beef? ^_^). You can really sculpt the tone from pleasing levels of fuzz to all out industrial grit, alter wet/dry levels & boost the bass even more if you're feeling rebellious (& the neighbours are out). I can't describe how well it's sound moulds to the bass frequencies- almost like a compression...just pick one up & try it. For the price you can't go wrong. One minor quibble is that the activation switch is very noisy & clicky...when compared to the ultra-quiet Boss pedals anyway at least.

Great pedal, lots of variety in tone and useful feature of mixing dry and wet signals together, plus a bass boost!
