What we say:
At A Glance
The Casino differs from other Epiphone semi-acoustics such as the Dot and the Sheraton in three main ways. Firstly, it is completely hollow meaning there is no maple centre block to anchor the pickups. This makes the sound more breezy and jangly. This is also enhanced by the P90 single coils as opposed to the PAF-style humbuckers usually found on models like this. Thirdly, the neck is joined to the body much deeper than with other models. This changes the whole way the guitar feels and plays, giving it a unique personality that is truly enjoyable.
Features We Love:
Dogear P90s
The pair of P90 Classic pickups offer up some amazing tones. They are very responsive to your playing so your own personality can come through easily. Play lightly and you get smooth, clean and bright tones. Dig in a bit harder and you get that distinctive bite and growl associated with a P90.
Classic Looks
First introduced in the early 1960s, the Casino is now a model favoured by many due to the vintage style vibes it offers. Whether you associate it with the golden era of British Rock or the more modern players who still use it to this day, there is no doubt that this guitar has earned its place as a legendary model.
Trapeze Tailpiece
Another great historic touch is the traditional trapeze tailpiece. It fuses together a vintage look with a tried and tested tailpiece design. Functional and stylish, it is a great feature on this classic guitar.
Highlights:
- A classic model with modern playability
- P90 tones to suit a variety of musical styles
- Epiphone's high quality construction
