The Dunlop Straplok System is the strap retainer designed with the artist in mind. 360º groove and ball design allows the unit to rotate without catching. The case hardened steel skin guarantees long life. The same strap can be used with several guitars, as the strap button is interchangeable.

Specification

Release tested up to 800 lbs. of pull. It will not come loose. Set (2 units for instrument and strap) adapts to instrument by replacing existing strap pins / screws with special Straplok System buttons / screws. Two strap attachments are included for your strap. Available in 4 finishes & 4 button styles. Extra wide flange provides an edge

Overall Rating 4.9/5 (27 reviews)

The strap locks were easy to install using the supplied instructions. My motivation for fitting them was to allow the strap to be detached frequently for rehearsals and gigs quickly without the strap holes wearing out.

Brilliant product. Quick release and still looks like original clasic guitar speck when guitar strap removed.

Danny H. - 27/5/2024

Still comfortable still only one purpose

Allowed me to order with 10% refundable deposit. The model had to be brought from Fender’s warehouse. Ally at Edinburgh set up a practice area with some explanation of the Acoustasonic functionality. No pressure sales. In fact the Rdinburgh shop price matched Fender Acoustasonic Jazzmater. Very happy with the service from start to finish

Never used them before - feel really well made.

I wasn't expecting to have to pay for these as I purchased an expensive instrument. One of your competitors let me have these for free on a less expensive guitar I purchased in April. Same thing on a more expensive guitar I purchased elsewhere in March. That dealer also did not charge for the strings or the strap locks. I appreciate you charge where the instrument is a cheap one, but on a guitar costing £2k, this should be included for free.

Alex at GuitarGuitar ensured that these locking buttons were properly fitted to both the guitar and strap.

they are a good price and great quality

Strap locks. Keep your kit safe. They might get a bit sticky in a decade or so but a little WD40 sorts that. Buy some.

Paul H. - 4/3/2020

Great straplocks easy to click on and off

They work well, although they can be a bit fiddly to fit to strap.

Mark A. - 31/8/2018

Excellent item, I have these on all my stage guitars. (5)
