Collings electric guitars are hand made boutique instruments from Texas. These instruments boast the same authenticity and attention to detail as the brand's acoustics. Collings make both solid body and semi hollow electrics. They take their inspiration from classic 50's 'Kalamazoo' designs. Collings electric guitars are known to be some of the most playable and socially excellent in existence. The same painstaking finishing techniques used on the acoustic models are employed here. Layer upon layer of thin nitrocellulose coats is delicately sanded down before each subsequent layer is applied. This results in instruments of sumptuous beauty.
