Charvel Guitars was originally founded in the 1970's by Wayne Charvel and after many years has developed into a brand with a real identity that continues to turn heads today. Originally started as a repair company to fix Fender guitars that were unfortunately out of warranty, the brand quickly found success and turned to producing fully built guitars. Soon after this the brand was acquired by legendary luthier Grover Jackson who continued the brand through the 1980's. In the early 2000's the brand came full circle in a sense having been acquired by Fender Guitars, and since then has been rebuilt to capture the essences of Charvels roots. With the help of Fender's infrastructure, Charvel has various models built all over the world for artists big and small.
