Fender American Professional Jazz Bass

Fender American Professional Jazz Bass takes the long legacy of the Jazz Bass and delivers a phenomenal modern instrument with all the charms of the original. The features that set this apart from vintage-styled models can be subtle. Fender American Professional Jazz Bass builds on more than six decades of development and experience to bring the working bassist the very finest Jazz Bass to date. It has been built to capture all the slinky playability and snarling, grooving punch in the sound that a classic Jazz Bass is known for.

The tuners are lighter and smaller for better weight distribution, and the increased taper on the neck allows for easier access to the higher frets. The V Mod III single-coil Jazz Bass pickups deliver the punch that Jazz basses are loved for, and are perfectly suited to all styles, whether it's slap, smooth fingerstyle or aggressive picking. The HiMass bridge helps transfer more of the string's vibration to the Alder body for increased sustain and resonance. The maple neck features a comfortable Slim "C" shape with narrow tall frets and 9.5" radius, ensuring it's easy to play up the whole of the 34" scale length.

Fender American Professional Jazz Bass shows why both Fender and the Jazz Bass have been at the heart of music ever since their inception and is available in five-string and left-handed models as well. Fender really considered everything to make this is an extremely high-quality instrument built for touring the world and making hit records.

Fender American Professional Jazz Bass features a pair of superb V-Mod III singlecoil Jazz Bass pickups to deliver that signature sound that makes it perfect for everything from deep dub and funk, to bell-like solo work and aggressive pick-style punk sounds. The Slim "C" neck with rolled fretboard edges and Narrow Tall frets also ensure maximum comfort on the Fender American Professional Jazz Bass. The playability is excellent, whatever your style and however long your set is!
