About Squier Classic Vibe Precision Bass

Three decades of iconic basses are recreated in the series of Squier Classic Vibe Precision Bass. The 50s, 60s and 70s all have distinct musical histories and, of course, the instruments reflect this. The bass guitars of these periods are every bit as famous as the music played on them.

Although it evolved quickly, the birth of the Precision Bass saw quite a different design with an almost Telecaster-like pickup, pickguard and control panel. The Squier Classic Vibe 50s Precision Bass celebrates this distinctive era in early Fender design, available in 2 tone sunburst and white blonde. The Squier Classic Vibe 60s Precision Bass is more familiar with the famous split-coil pickup and large tortoiseshell pickguard. The Squier Classic Vibe 70s Precision Bass captures the magic of the era with black block inlays in a maple neck with a period-correct headstock decal.

In terms of sound, the Squier Classic Vibe Precision Bass has all that famous low-end rumble you’d expect from a good P Bass. They also have extremely comfortable necks with a modern 9.5” radius the only concession to contemporary specs to ensure extremely playable basses.

What Makes the Squier Classic Vibe Precision Bass Different?

  • Celebration of iconic P Bass models
  • Period correct features
