What we say:
At A Glance
The Gibson ES-339 Figured is the perfect choice for those who love the classic looks and sounds of an ES-335, but are after something a bit more compact. Having a slightly smaller body and also a bit lighter, it is the perfect portable solution if you are after a semi-hollow.
The standout point on this stunning axe has to be the figured maple finish, which adds an extra layer of stunning aesthetic depth to an already smashing axe.
A set of impressive pickups make sure that your tonal needs are met and are perfect for a number of styles. Many player friendly features are present such as a Graph Tech nut and Grover Rotomatic tuners. A Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece make for easy and precise intonation and keep the strings held safely in place.
Features We Love:
57 Classic Pickups
This dual humbucker set brings to mind the smooth and silky tones of the original PAF style pickups of the '50s. They do a great job of producing the much sought and classic tone but with a little extra juice to them.
Rounded C Neck
A familiar and comfortable neck profile, the Rounded C is great for all levels and styles of players. Long studio sessions and performances can be completed without fatigue due to the ease of playing offered from this mahogany neck.
Compact Size
Not everyone wants a full-size ES-335 guitar. Maybe you are looking for something that is easier to transport or just find the smaller body size a lot more comfortable to play. Either way, the 339 offers you many of the same benefits in a more compact package.
Highlights:
- A full tonal palette covering all of your gigging and recording needs
- Perfect for those looking for a compact equivalent of the ES-335
- Stunning Flamed Maple finish on the top, back and sides
