1961 Neck Shape
One of the biggest factors in our enjoyment of a guitar is the neck shape and Fender has kept things true to vintage specs with this era-specific neck carve. This "C" carve has become quite the sought-after shape for Fender due to its supreme comfortability. It's a carve you won't find on many guitars and it makes this one extra special.
Pure Vintage Pickups
Not just looking to capture the feel of a 60's Strat, Fender has gone with their Pure Vintage single coils wound specifically for that 1961 spec. This is the sound of a vintage Strat! A warm low end with a sparkly high end. As soon as you plug this guitar in you'll be met with that iconic Strat tone.
Vintage Spec, Modern Quality
Fender has recreated as much of that vintage vibe as they can with this model from the year-specific neck shape and pickups, to the 7.25" radius on the neck, and classic '61 body contours.
