What we say:
At A Glance:
The HM Strat was first unleashed in the late '80s as a way for Fender to enter the Heavy Metal coliseum and battle with the many hot-rodded strat wannabes. This Limited Edition model features the same striking looks and shredder specs as the original HM from back in the day. With a Floyd Rose double-locking trem, Gotoh tuners, a super-hot HSS pickup configuration and that eye-catching Ice Blue finish, you know this is a guitar that can do some damage!
Features We Love:
I Feel The Need...
The need for speed! That's right, this guitar is built for playing fast! From the Jumbo sized frets to the maple neck and Narrow "C" neck profile, all have been included to let your hands achieve maximum velocity with precision and fluidity.
Floyd Rose Tremolo
The recessed Floyd Rose Special tremolo is an essential part of any shredder guitar. An icon in the world of heavy metal old and new, the Floyd Rose allows for extreme dive bombs, sharp bends up and down, as well as flutters, trills and the other trem tricks that are a fundamental part of a true gunslinger guitar solo! Plus the double-locking mechanism means that no matter how hard you play, this guitar is never going to drift out of tune.
HM Pickups
These super hot Fender HM (Heavy Metal) pickups allow for that perfect blend between overdriven tones and clarity, creating a tight sound that lets the notes cut through at any speed. With a humbucker in the bridge and single coils in the middle and neck positions, the HM Strat offers a great range of tones that suit hard rock and metal playing, the humbucker in the bridge can also so be split, allowing you to tap into glistening classic strat tones in any of the pickup combinations.
Highlights:
- Wicked awesome retro looks!
- Versatile range of tones that love to be overdriven
- Floyd Rose tremolo offers great tuning stability
