Gibson pays tribute to an exceptional original 1959 Les Paul Standard, which earned the nickname “Red Eye” among collectors due to its striking grain and the characteristic “red eyes” visible in the maple top.

Body: 3 out of 5 - Instrument has been used and shows evidence of its life in the forms of checking, chips and other superficial wear and tear. Metal parts and hardware may be mildly tarnished or stained and cosmetically imperfect.
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
Additional Information: There is some aniline dye that has bled into the neck binding and some on the binding of the body as well.
This guitar has been restrung with Dunlop Strings
