The Fender Precision Bass is possibly the most recorded bass guitar in the history of music. For many bassists this is the original and the best. Like other Fender models from the 50s and early 60s, its design was so perfect from day one that it has hardly changed since. You will often hear it referred to as the P-Bass for short.
