The ESP LTD EC-1000 Quilted Maple See Thru Purple Sunburst has all of the performance needed for the modern metal player. The single cut, 24.75" scale length, set neck design clearly takes inspiration from a classic model, but it's the refinements that are where ESP really shines. With some well-placed contours in the body and sharpened edges, the Eclipse is less 'clunky' than its competition. The mahogany body and neck have a prominent mid-range to thicken up your tone but with all of the bite from the ebony fingerboard. With a TonePros TOM style bridge and tailpiece and two active EMG humbuckers, its ferociousness and brutality is second to none.
