Gibson Custom Shop has stepped back in time to 1967 with the recreation of this 1967 Mahogany Flying V Reissue Sparkling Burgundy VOS. Originally introduced in 1958, the V body shape has rightly earned a place in guitar history. When it was reintroduced in 1967 with the added vibrato, it added more versatility to a favourite model. The extremely talented Custom Shop team has accurately recreated all the fine details including the neck profile and other contours. The Custombuckers sound satisfying with smooth highs and warm lows. The overall result is an exemplary guitar that does justice to the past but also provides the player with a top-quality instrument.
