Chet Atkins was a country legend whose unique playing style was often imitated, but never duplicated. Nicknamed "Mr. Guitar" Chet was almost as famous for his work with Gretsch designing guitars as he was for his complex and unmistakable playing style. The Chet Atkins hollowbody is a throwback to the classic hollowbody guitars Chet made famous in the '50s and '60s. The flame maple top, back, and sides are absolutely stunning and lend a more modern vibe to this legendary guitar. The ebony fingerboard is adorned with neo-classic thumbnail inlays. The hollowbody is loaded with High Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups and a gold Bigsby B6 tailpiece provides the classic "twang" that made Gretsch a favorite of country and rockabilly players. With its stunning good looks and poise, the G6120AM will simply take your breath away.

Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish. There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish.
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
Additional Information: This Gretsch has come to us in great condition with only some light swirl/hazing across the top and some faint buckle rash.
This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.
