The whole idea behind the Les Paul Studio is to keep all of the elements that make this guitar sound and feel great, while removing all unnecessary decorative elements in order to come up with a more affordable option. In other words, no binding, no figured maple top. None of which affects your playing of course!
Preferred by many, especially those with a heavier Rock persuasion, why pay more for stuff you don't need?
