The Standard Historic 1958 Standard Les Paul from Gibson Custom delivers the tone, looks and feel of the original ’58, the first of the Gibson’s now infamous Sunburst models. It features hand-crafted beauty, authentic vintage Gibson tone and historic appointments plus historically accurate aniline dye, hide glue neck construction and the renown sound transference that comes with its long neck tenon. The most important details that made the original a legend are artfully revived for a convincing vintage playing experience.

Body: 3 out of 5 - Instrument has been used and shows evidence of its life in the forms of checking, chips and other superficial wear and tear. Metal parts and hardware may be mildly tarnished or stained and cosmetically imperfect.
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
Additional Information: This Gibson comes in good overall condition but does show signs of previous use in the form of mild finish checking as can be expected on a 12 year old guitar, it does also have some minor bumps all over as well as one larger ding on the rear near the neck join, this is purely aesthetic.
This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.
