The ESP KH-2 is the main Signature Series guitar created by Kirk Hammett, lead guitarist of the world's most successful metal band in history, Metallica. Originally based on the ESP M-II, the guitar was then customized by Kirk to include the precise pickups and other components for Metallica's sound, and personalized with Kirk's skull-and-bones fingerboard inlays and signature on the headstock.

This item was appraised as follows:
Body: 3 out of 5 - Instrument has been used and shows evidence of its life in the forms of checking, chips and other superficial wear and tear. Metal parts and hardware may be mildly tarnished or stained and cosmetically imperfect.
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
Additional Information: This guitar has come to us in fair condition, showing significant signs of use. There are chips and scratches all over the body, some of which have been stained prior to purchase. The guitar is fully functional but has been used well.
This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.
This item has been modified as follows: Set of Kirk Hammett EMG KH-BB have been fitted along with two Floyd Rose Noiseless trem springs. It also has no backplate and is missing a screw from the cavity plate.
