What we say:
At A Glance
The Martin 00-28 Modern Deluxe is the modern take on classic, vintage Martin design. The 00-28 Modern Deluxe is packed with high quality features and modern technology, all based around Martin's timeless designs to give you the ultimate acoustic guitar.
The 00 is one of Martin's classic designs. Smaller than the 000, this is a straight-up parlour sized beauty of a guitar, perfect for comfortable strumming adn fingerpicking.
Other ultra-modern features include the Liquidmetal® bridge pins and composite carbon fibre bridgeplate that boosts volume. Meanwhile some of the gorgeous, top-drawer appointments include the European Flamed Maple endpiece and binding, abalone inlays and gold frets and tuners.
In total , the 00-28 Modern Deluxe is anything but Standard, and represents one of the finest Martin acoustic guitars you'll ever find.
Features We Love:
Spruce with VTS
The Vintage Tone System from Martin uses a unique recipe that has been based on historic torrefaction systems. VTS is much like a time machine in that Martin craftsmen and craftswomen are able to target specific visual aesthetics and possibly more importantly, reproduce specific tones from revered vintage models and apply them to new ones.
Top Quality Appointments
The 00-28 Modern Deluxe sports some of the highest spec appointments in the Martin range, including Abalone inlays throughout, gold fretwork and hardware, and stunning European Flamed Maple binding.
Martin Forward Shifted X-Brace System
Martin's X-Brace system dates back almost 200 years, designed to present the perfect balance between reliability and optimised tonal quality, in a guitar that will last a lifetime. This "forward-shifted" design moves the X towards the neck, retaining support and rigidity whilst allowing the section behind the bridge to resonate. The result is a reliable guitar that is loud and offers a spectacular bass response, pronounced tone and singing resonance.
Who Is It For?
This guitar is undoubtedly for the guitarist seeking the very highest pedigree of a compact, comfortable Martin acoustic guitar, particularly fingerpickers and solo players.
Highlights:
- Modern take on a Martin Classic
- Boasts highest quality appointments in Martin range
- Packed with Martin's top technologies
