The Gibson SG Standard, Translucent Teal is a bold take on a legendary design, combining classic late '60s SG styling with a fresh Custom Color finish. Built with a solid mahogany body and set mahogany neck, it delivers the unmistakable sustain and resonance that has made the SG a staple for decades. The 490R and 490T Alnico II humbuckers provide a powerful yet balanced voice, offering warm lows, focused mids, and smooth highs that respond beautifully to both clean and driven tones.
Designed for effortless playability, the rounded neck profile feels comfortable in hand while the bound rosewood fingerboard and medium jumbo frets make bends and fast passages feel natural. The long tenon neck joint enhances stability and sustain, while the classic control layout gives you access to precise tonal shaping. Finished in striking Translucent Teal with a full-face pickguard, this SG stands out visually while staying true to its heritage. It is a versatile, stage-ready instrument that suits everything from classic rock to modern styles.
