Like the 200 Series, the sapele 100 Series incorporates laminate back and sides, which offer extra resilience to fluctuating climate conditions, and a slightly narrower 1 11/16-inch neck. It’s one of the best full-size guitars you’ll find for the money, especially with the availability of Taylor’s ES pickup. It makes a viable performance tool, a great entry-level guitar, or a second utility guitar for alternate tunings.

Body: 3 out of 5 - Instrument has been used and shows evidence of its life in the forms of checking, chips and other superficial wear and tear. Metal parts and hardware may be mildly tarnished or stained and cosmetically imperfect.
Neck: 3 out of 5 - The frets have mild wear and/or pitting and may require profiling or replacement in future if the guitar is played extensively, although this work is not required immediately and the guitar plays and frets cleanly at present.
