Frequently Bought Together
The Gibson ES-335 is undoubtedly one of the most versatile designs in electric guitar history. Traditionally favoured by jazz and blues players for it's thick yet three dimensional tone, the f-hole laden, semi-hollow ES-335 has also become omnipresent in indie rock, hard rock, alternative, lo-fi and fusion genres, such as the adaptability of it's tones.
Condition Report
At guitarguitar, we award our used gear a grade from 1-5 according to its overall condition, with 5 being the best.
This item was appraised as follows:
Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish. There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish.
Neck: 3 out of 5 - The frets have mild wear and/or pitting and may require profiling or replacement in future if the guitar is played extensively, although this work is not required immediately and the guitar plays and frets cleanly at present.
Additional Information: some small areas of light cosmetic use; there are some small chips in the back of the neck near the first 3 frets, and some very light scratches to the gloss finish. There is also a small chip in headstock, close to the high-e's tuning button. There is what appears to be some cracking on the inside of the pot-heads, though this isn't of any functional concern, only cosmetic.
