This gorgeous G5700 Electromatic Lap Steel in Vintage White is part of Gretsch’s Electromatic range. Designed of course to sit on the lap, this Hawaiian-style Lap Steel is one charismatic instrument. Made with a large satisfying chunk of mahogany, this fabulous instrument uses one chrome-covered single-coil pickup to get its rootsy and exotic sounds.

Rich Sound
The strings go through the body for excellent resonance, a quality that plays a large part in those smooth slides. The aluminum nut also adds a degree of character to the overall tone.
Loaded With Style
It's not only the stunning finish colour that makes this lap steel so easy on the eyes. Other appointments such as the Circle, Triangle, Square and Diamond inlays plus the retro Art Deco-style control panel give the G5700 a very stylish look.
Single-Coil Pickup
Voiced to get the very best out of this instrument, the single-coil pickup has a bright sound but is never harsh or cutting. Expect your glissandos to sit well in band settings, both when performing live and recorded.
